Our specialty at Gregory Construction. Retaining walls are structures designed to hold back soil and create level areas on sloped or uneven terrain. They are essential for preventing soil erosion, managing water runoff, and maximizing usable space in a variety of settings, including gardens, patios, driveways, and more. These structures require tedious attention to structural strength/detail, knowledge of proper safety/operation means during the construction process, and skilled labor to provide an efficient force to take care of the task at hand.
Landscape Construction is the process of transforming outdoor spaces through the design, planning, and installation of various elements. Some of these include garden beds, sidewalks, hardscaping features, exterior lighting, water features, retaining walls, drainage, topsoil, leveling/grading, and so much more. It's about blending the natural environment with built structures to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor areas.
Surface Drainage is preventing issues like flooding, erosion, and water damage to structures and landscapes. Many different means of drainage can be done right at the surface- such as the French drain; Around building foundations or in soggy yards, a French Drain is a system that utilizes a slightly sloped trench, filled with gravel, to create an easy pathway for water to flow away by the force of gravity.
